Design is a very old activity, yet a new profession. At UID, our mission is to bridge that gap — providing quality design education with proper knowledge, capturing broad learning across disciplines. We build teams, nurture individual thinking and prepare students to achieve the best of their potential through a total education concept that goes beyond the classroom.

Mr. Manoj Vekariya
The driving force behind Universal Institute of Design since its founding in 1999. With a vision to make design education accessible and industry-relevant across Gujarat and beyond, Mr. Manoj Vekariya has built UID into one of Surat’s most respected creative institutions.
Co-Founder & Managing Director
Mr. Ghanshyam Vekariya
As Co-Founder and Managing Director, Mr. Ghanshyam Vekariya oversees the operational and academic growth of UID — ensuring that each campus delivers consistent, high-quality design education and that students are supported from enrolment through to placement.

CAD Competition

Abhivyakti Fashion Show
An annual cultural and fashion showcase where Interior Design graduates present their thesis projects alongside live performances — a celebration of creativity, culture and craft.
Workshop Sessions
